Print sizes on kids sizes

The print sizes quoted on this page are the adult maximums. A size 2 tee is only 34 cm across, so we scale artwork down to suit the size run — you do not need to send different files. What actually fits:

• Ordering a mixed run of kids and adult sizes? We scale each size so the logo looks right on all of them rather than pressing one size onto everything
• Sleeve prints on sizes 2–6 are small — a monogram, initials or a number rather than a full logo
• The free mockup shows the exact print size on the exact size you ordered, before we press anything

Team pricing

Applied automatically at checkout — mix garments, colours and sizes across our custom apparel range, they all count toward the same total. Kids and adult tees count together.

• Mockup emailed within 1 business day of your order (or of receiving your artwork)

Garment & specs

• Style code: JB’s Wear 1KT (SKU format 1KT-COLOUR-SIZE)
• 100% cotton, 190gsm ring spun jersey knit — the 13% Marle is a cotton/viscose blend
• Classic fit, shape-staying elastane rib crew neck
• Self-fabric tape on the inside neck and shoulders for stability — it keeps its shape through a school term
• Twin-needle double-stitched seams, vertical side seams to stop the body twisting in the wash
• UPF rated to AS 4399:2020 — the rating varies by colour: most are UPF 50+, 13% Marle / Sky Blue / Yellow are UPF 30, White and Soft Pink are UPF 15. Email us if you need a specific rating
• 22 colours, sizes 2–14 — every colour comes in every size, so nothing greys out
• Need adult sizes to match? The Cotton Tee is the same fabric in 2XS–5XL and shares these colour names

Print & care

We print with DTF (direct-to-film) — full colour, no colour limit, no setup fee. The print is soft and flexible rather than a thick plastic patch, which matters on a garment a child actually plays in. Our transfers are tested to 50+ washes with no cracking or fading.

• Wash inside out, cold or warm (max 40°C), gentle cycle
• No bleach, no fabric softener on the print
• Hang dry, or tumble dry low
• Iron inside out only — never directly on the print
• Leave 24 hours before the first wash

Artwork

• Best files: PNG with a transparent background, or vector — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. These print exactly as supplied
• JPGs, screenshots and photos of a logo are still accepted. If the background has to be cut out an artwork fee may apply — we always quote before we start and you can approve or decline
• Text only — a school name, a team name, player names or numbers? Type it into the notes on this page and we set it for free
• 300 DPI at the final print size
• Minimum line thickness 0.5 mm so fine detail holds
• White in your artwork prints as white ink — if you want the garment colour to show through, make it transparent
• Up to 20 MB per file through the uploader; larger files, just email them

Size guide

All measurements in centimetres. Chest is a half-chest measurement — taken across the garment laid flat, not around your body. Length is measured from the shoulder point. Sizes are AU kids sizes and roughly match age in years, but children vary — measure a tee that already fits rather than going by age.

Where kids 14 meets adult sizes: a kids 14 is 50 cm across the chest, which sits just under an adult 2XS (48.5 cm) and XS (51 cm) on our adult Cotton Tee. For teenagers, order whichever gives the length you want — the adult XS is about 3 cm longer in the body.

Sizing and returns: printed garments are made to order, so we cannot accept change-of-mind returns or size swaps. We will replace or refund anything with a print or garment fault.
