Shipping & Returns

We run two lines and they move at different speeds. Both are printed to order from your artwork — nothing is pre-made — but garments also have to be ordered in and pressed, so they take longer. Times below are separate for each.

Processing time

DTF transfers

Transfers are dispatched 24–48 hours after we approve your artwork. Print-ready files are usually approved the same business day we receive them, so most orders leave us within two business days of being placed.

Free sample packs

Dispatched within 1–2 business days.

Custom apparel

Printed garments are made to order:

  1. We email you a free mockup within 1 business day of your order (or of receiving your artwork, if you emailed it separately).
  2. Once you approve the mockup, we order in, print, press and dispatch within 3–6 business days.

Large team orders (100+ garments) may need a little longer — we’ll tell you the date when we send your mockup. If you have a hard deadline, email hello@dtfmotion.com.au before you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can make it.

Shipping rates

DTF transfers & sample packs $12 flat — free once your order reaches $120
Custom apparel $20 flat — free once your order reaches $180

Rates are flat, so a big team order never costs more to ship than a single tee. Every order is sent with tracking.

How the thresholds work on a mixed order

Both thresholds are measured against your whole order total, so transfers and apparel in the same cart count together rather than separately:

  • Order total $180 or more — everything ships free.
  • Order total $120 to $179.99 — transfers ship free; apparel is $20.
  • Order total under $120 — $12 for the transfers and $20 for the apparel, so a cart holding both pays $32.

Discount codes are applied before shipping is worked out, so a code can take an order back under a threshold. The checkout always shows the final shipping cost before you pay — if a code leaves you worse off, just remove it.

Delivery times (after dispatch)

Australia Post standard: 2–5 business days, Australia-wide.

International orders

We currently ship within Australia only. International is coming — join our mailing list to be notified.

Returns & replacements

Custom printed apparel

Every garment is printed to order with your artwork, so we can’t accept change-of-mind returns, size swaps or exchanges. Please use the size guide on the product page — it lists the real garment measurements — and email us if you’d like help planning a size run before you commit.

We will replace or refund a garment if:

  • The print is faulty (cracking, misregistration, wrong colour from our side)
  • We printed the wrong artwork, wrong size or wrong position
  • The garment itself has a manufacturing fault
  • It was damaged in transit (send photos within 7 days of delivery)

The mockup we send before printing is your chance to check placement, size and spelling — once you approve it, we print exactly what’s on it.

DTF transfers

Because transfers are custom printed from your artwork, we don’t accept returns for change of mind. We will replace transfers free of charge if:

  • Print quality is below standard (faded, banding, smudges from our side)
  • Wrong size or wrong file printed (our error)
  • Order damaged in transit (provide photos within 7 days of delivery)

Transfers that failed because of pressing — wrong temperature, not enough pressure, or a skipped second press — aren’t covered, but tell us what happened and we’ll help you get the settings right.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to claim

Email hello@dtfmotion.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue
  • A brief description of what went wrong

We’ll respond within one business day and arrange a replacement or refund.

Cancellations

Transfers: can be cancelled any time before printing starts — in practice, before your artwork is approved.

Apparel: can be cancelled any time before you approve your mockup, at no charge. After approval we order in the garments and start printing, so the order can no longer be cancelled.
