How it works

Two ways to work with us

Send us artwork and we’ll post you press-ready transfers, or let us print the finished garment and post you that instead. Same artwork, same print quality, same honest pricing on the page — no quote emails, no minimum order, no setup fee.

DTF transfers — you press them

1. Enter your size & upload

On the Order by Size page, type your print size in cm and the price updates as you type — anything from a 3 cm logo up to 28 × 100 cm, from $1.99. Upload a transparent PNG or a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) right on the page, or order first and email it to hello@dtfmotion.com.au with your order number.

2. We print & ship

We print on pro-grade DTF film with vivid colour and a clean white base, then dispatch 24–48 hours after your artwork is approved. Print-ready files are usually approved the same business day we receive them. Australia Post delivery is then 2–5 business days.

3. You press & peel

Pre-press the garment for 5 seconds. Press cotton at 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds with firm pressure, or polyester, sports mesh and hi vis at 130–140°C for 8–12 seconds with medium pressure. Peel hot or cold — both work with our film. Then cover with baking paper and press again for 8–12 seconds to lock it in. Full detail on the Press Instructions page.

Custom apparel — we press them

1. Pick a garment

Browse our custom apparel range — JB’s Wear, Biz Collection, Blue Whale and more — tees, polos, work shirts, hi vis, hoodies and fleece, jackets and vests, in mens, womens and kids cuts. Choose your colour and size on the product page; sizes the maker doesn’t produce in that colour are greyed out so you can’t order something that doesn’t exist.

2. Place your print

One print is included in the price — left chest or right chest, your choice. Prefer it big? Move that included print to a full front or full back for $5.99. Add extra positions on top if you want them, and upload artwork for each. The product page shows each position drawn on a photo of the actual garment.

3. Approve the mockup, we do the rest

We email you a free mockup within 1 business day. Once you approve it we order in the garment, print, press and dispatch within 3–6 business days. Team discounts start automatically at 15 pieces and mix across garments, colours and sizes.

What DTF works on

  • Cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends
  • Canvas, denim, fleece, spandex
  • Light and dark fabrics alike
  • T-shirts, hoodies, polos, caps, bags, aprons, tote bags
  • Nylon and neoprene at a lower setting — test first
  • Not waterproof or silicone-coated fabrics

Artwork specs

  • Best files — a PNG with a transparent background, or a vector file: AI, EPS, PDF or SVG
  • JPGs and screenshots are still accepted, but an artwork fee may apply — we always quote before we start and you can approve or decline
  • 300 DPI at final print size
  • RGB or CMYK — both fine
