Print positions on a work shirt

We print on the fluoro panel only — a logo pressed across the contrast panel sits half on fluoro and half on the dark panel and looks like a mistake, and the seam between the two presses unevenly. A shirt also has hardware a tee does not, so two positions work differently here:

• Chest logos sit above the pocket. Both chest pockets have a button-down flap, and we will not press over a flap — it is a double layer with a stud in it and the transfer will not bond evenly. That leaves the strip between the yoke and the pocket, so a chest logo on this shirt is about 9 × 7 cm rather than the 10 × 10 cm we can do on a tee. Wider logos still work if they are shallow — send it over and we will tell you
• Back prints go below the yoke flap. The back has a vented yoke across the shoulders; a full back print sits underneath it, in the clear fluoro area
• Sleeve prints go on the fluoro upper sleeve, above the contrast cuff
• Every order gets a free mockup before we press, so you see exactly where your logo lands and how big it is

Print & care

We print with DTF (direct-to-film) — full colour, no colour limit and no setup fee. On cotton drill the transfer bonds hard and stays flexible, and ours are tested to 50+ washes with no cracking or fading.

• Wash inside out, cold or warm (max 40°C), gentle cycle
• No bleach, no fabric softener on the print
• Hang dry, or tumble dry low
• Iron inside out only — never directly on the print
• Leave 24 hours before the first wash

Artwork

• Best files: PNG with a transparent background, or vector — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. These print exactly as supplied
• JPGs, screenshots and photos of a logo are still accepted. If the background has to be cut out an artwork fee may apply — we always quote before we start and you can approve or decline
• Text only — a business name, staff names or a slogan? Type it into the notes on this page and we set it for free
• 300 DPI at the final print size
• Minimum line thickness 0.5 mm so fine detail holds
• White in your artwork prints as white ink — if you want the garment colour to show through, make it transparent
• Up to 20 MB per file through the uploader; larger files, just email them

Size guide

All measurements in centimetres. Chest is a half-chest measurement — taken across the garment laid flat, not around your body. Length is centre-back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

How to measure: lay a work shirt you already wear flat and buttoned, sleeves out. Measure straight across from side seam to side seam just below the armhole. The collar column is the neck measurement in cm, which is the quickest way to size a shirt if you already know your collar. The drill is pre-shrunk, so it holds its size — but it is a work fit, cut roomy over the shoulders on purpose.
